The Associated Press News is aa source I often find myself checking when looking for news events that I am researching. The source is very unbiased typically and makes sure to post facts about the news they cover. Backing up the story with factual evidence is the one thing I look for on the news websites I visit. I enjoy being able to look through this news website and feel confident most of what I read is unbiased towards political stance and covers exactly what I am wanting to read about the topic.
Breaking International News & Views | Reuters
Reuters is another great unbiased and truthful source. The source covers very broad topics and focuses on important topics needed to be covered around the globe. The world needs more trustworthy news medias such as this organization. The United States would be more informed about what is going on if the citizens used more sources like Reuters. The news sources should be more structured similarly to this website and cover topics that truly matter instead of pushing fake stories to cause separation and personal gain for their big companies.
CBS News - Breaking news, 24/7 live streaming news & top stories
Typically, I use the top two examples the most if I am looking for news or research and find the news on external news sources mainly focused on overseas, however, CBS news does keep a fairly neutral position on most topics. They keep the story pretty unbiased in most cases and get to the actual story without "fishing" for viewers with fake titles to grab attention. They are good at covering big stories and have a wide range of coverage for many US citizens. The news source could use a slight bit of tweaking for certain views on the current political views, but I would still say the source can be trustworthy.
The Economist - World News, Politics, Economics, Business & Finance
The Economist is a news source that covers a good deal of topics that are valuable to keep yourself informed on. I believe it is good to focus a certain amount on the economy and financial aspects of our country. The site strives to create an equal view between the political sides and give both factual evidence for the current events happening. The cite, just like any other news media, can seem like it leans a certain way in some stories, but I believe they do a good job at keeping most of their topics fair to both sides and keeping the facts intact. The news source can be a good source of political or economic events currently taking place and I would say would be a decent source to get your news from.
The Real News is a source that lives up to its exact name. The source covers the events very thoroughly and keeps the unbiased look when covering the current events. There are many different medias people get there news through, but this source is a solid example of a news source that covers many stories correctly and with their viewers in mind as people and not a currency, like some big news networks. Most of the coverage on their site is laid out with the true concrete evidence. The concrete evidence is something that should be shown more in the big news organizations in the United States.
